Our proprietary composite material allowed for an injection moldable wood cellulose material that can be made into any shape you can think of. The material is made from PEFC sustainably forested wood cellulose fiber that is collected from the waste at wood mill factories in Croatia and renewable sugarcane oil. Making the BetterBone 100% all natural and sustainable, while reducing c02 emissions, and the use of non-renewable resources.
The wood cellulose fiber is used as it is softer and safer on teeth than current industry standards like Nylon, all while being completely free of chemicals, colors, and dyes. You will never find any harmful chemicals that typically accompany petroleum based plastic dog products, and chemically treated cowhide products.
We believe our material can become the new industry standard for the dog chew market creating a more eco-friendly, and pet friendly family of products that reduces the whole families carbon footprint.
