From Fashion Waste to Functional Hangers: How We Did It

Every day, Germany collects over 150 truckloads of unwanted clothes. That’s a lot of fabric! While some of these clothes find a second life through donations or resale, a significant portion is simply non-reusable. But instead of letting these discarded textiles go to waste, we decided to give them a new purpose.

Here’s how it works: We take the non-reusable fraction of these textiles—think worn-out jeans, tattered shirts, and other fabric scraps—and transform them into something we call Fibre-Pellets. These pellets are a blend of shredded textiles combined with recycled polypropylene (rPP) and recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) fibers. This mix creates an injection-moldable material that’s perfect for making hangers.
